Meetup is a nice website when you have too much time in your hands and your friends kind of do not. Back when I did not have a job yet, this was my situation. And I found a very nice event which was a little cruise on the Sumida river.
Over the Sumida river, you get to see the Rainbow Bridge, the Tokyo Tower as well as the Skytree, and it is a nice change to the usual views.
(sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I realised once I was home this day that my lens was dirty)
And the cruise stopped in Asakusa, so, with a few persons from the Meetup we decided to go to see the Sensôji! It was my first time going to the Sensôji during the night and it is a nice change to the feeling you get in broad daylight.
