Le Cours Julien à Marseille

So, I'm still an intern for about three weeks and in the general area of my workplace, there is a place I particularly like going to. It is called Cours Julien. It's a 5 to 15 minutes walk from the Canebière depending where you are and which path you choose. Truth is, even though it is my second internship in Marseilles, I do not really know the city. So it is actually a japanese exchange student who got me curious about it by saying it was by far his favorite area in the city

It is an artsy area and it is very different from its surroundings. There is a big fountain, a lot of trees, some vintage shops and a lot of restaurants. It's a very refreshing area to go to during lunch break.
