My parents are visiting me. Somehow, this summer, only the cities around the Mediteranean sea benefit from a hot weather. My parents live way up north, so it was a nice change for them. I decided to bring them to the Terrain des Peintres. This is the place from which Cezanne painted a lot of his Ste Victoire paintings. Anyway, it's about 4km from the city center, going up for most of it. I thought it was only 1km away, so I said so to my parents, well :S.
How to explain what is the Sainte Victoire. Some would say "it is only a big rock", they are not wrong. But to me, it feels like the "front door" of the city. When I haven't been there for long, it's a bit like a "welcome home" from nature.
